POLITICAL CAREER
Former State Senator, Schuette was first elected to the position of Attorney General in 2010 along with the current slate of statewide officers. Prior to his election, Schuette served as a lawyer, former Court of Appeals Judge, Director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture and member of the Michigan Senate.

Schuette holds a B.A. from Georgetown and his J.D. from San Francisco Law School.
