POLITICAL CAREER
Wenke served as a County Commissioner for eight years, Chair for three years. He was first elected to MI House of Representatives in 2002 and is currently serving his final term.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Wenke is a partner of the MI Grower Products and is a Greenhouse owner. He was a former Manager of the Westinghouse Electric Corp. and a realtor, 1968-69. He was also a Nurse Assistant and the Former Director of the Bedding Plants International.

EDUCATION
He earned his BA from Western Michigan University.

PERSONAL
He was born on October 9, 1945 in Kalamazoo, MI and is a member of the Richland Bible Church. He is married with two children.
