Senator Caswell is a former Township Official and State Representative. He was first elected to the Michigan Senate in 2010.

Senator Caswell is a retired school teacher and school superintendent. He also served as the superintendent of Pittsford Area Schools

B.A., M.A. Michigan State and attending West Point Academy.
PERSONAL
The son of Donald and Eleanor Caswell, Bruce was born on October 20, 1949. Bruce and his wife, Beth, have been married for 35 years. They have two children, Mark and Kevin, and two grandchildren, Samuel and Katherine. Caswell is a member of the Pittsford Lions Club, Wheatland Congregational Church, Hillsdale Masonic Lodge #32, Hillsdale American Legion and Mosherville Grange. He is also a life member of the MSU Alumni Association and the National Rifle Association.
