POLITICAL CAREER
Rep. Jenkins is a former district representative for former Sen. Cameron Brown. She was first elected to the House in 2010.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Legislative staffer, Jenkins has served as a real estate title examiner with Southern Metropolitan Title Company, the American Title Company, and as an independent title examiner with Investor Title Insurance Company. She has worked as a public relations assistant at the Christian Family Centre in Adrian and as a research assistant at Michigan Family Forum in Lansing.
EDUCATION
Jenkins graduated with honors from Evangel University in 1986 and went on to earn a master's degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo in 1991.
PERSONAL
Jenkins resides in Dover Township and has been actively involved in the Lenawee County community, serving on the Republican Executive Committee, Citizen Advisory Committee on the Law Enforcement Center and chair of the Vote Yes on Law Enforcement Center Campaign.
