POLITICAL CAREER
Rep. Stakoe served on the SEMCOG Executive Committee, as Highland Township Supervisor for 6 years; on the Highland Township Development Authority,and the Huron Shiawassee Headwater Project. He was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2002.

WORK EXPERIENCE
A former Milford Police Officer of 19 years, Rep. Stakoe also served on the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors.

EDUCATION
Rep. Stakoe earned his BS and his MA from Eastern Michigan University.

PERSONAL
Rep. Stakoe was born on July 15, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan. He is married with two children.
